From a high school student in diesel and welding class to a college graduate, Jeff found his passion early in life as a mechanic/technician. With an Assosiates Degree in Diesel Technology obtained in 2005 (Denver CO), he started his career as a diesel technician specializing in Detriot Series 60 models,at Stewart & Stevenson throughout his career he has worked on a broad range of equipment, including but not limited automobiles, diesel engines, and generators.
Originally from northern New Mexico, I earned my degree in Diesel Technology in 2005 and worked in the diesel/automotive field for 17 years now. Throughout the years I have continued my licensing and education to maintain my skills, knowledge and performance. My skills range from automobiles, diesel engines, to generators. I am proud to now be a resident and small business owner in Daphne, Alabama.
I have worked for very reputable companies over the past 17 years. From a college graduate in 2005, I started my career at Stewart & Stevenson where I learned an abundance of my knowledge. Certification courses and continued education has been not only a requirement from past employers but also a standard I have held myself to. Employed by the Farmington New Mexico School District as a bus mechanic for two years. Left with letters of recommendations.
2017, final career move before business ownership; LJ Power Generators. This position was challenging, educational, and also fun. The education obtained at LJ will always be cherished. Performance, skill and customer relations were the key to my achievements at this company. Like any position in my past I stayed commited to continued education and certifications during my four year career at LJ. This was the last position I held as an employee, before I was confident to start a company of my own.
2013 started at Pel-State Services as a Shop Mechanic, quickly moved up to Shop Foreman and then up again to Equipment Manager. Jeff held management over other mechanics and supervising quality work to ensure safety of drivers was top priority.
